Journey into the depth and breadth of yogic breathing techniques, or pranayama practice. Prana means, 'vital life force' in Sanskrit. And ayama means, 'to extend.' This course will include history, western and eastern study, practice, and teaching techniques for pranayama practice. We'll consider pranayama, both as a thing-in-and-of-itself, and as a practice that we believe is invaluable to a public yoga class experience.
