Galapagos Islands with Libby Cox
June 26-July 3, 2020

visit  One Yoga Global's website for detailed information

An expedition to the Galapagos Islands must stand as THE “once-in-a lifetime” experience, and what a better way to do this than in a small group of like-minded spirits who enjoy starting their day with a centering yoga practice.  If nature, science, or wildlife inspires you, there is no better place to be than the living museum of these isolated islands. Your 7-night, 8-day expedition includes naturalist guided trips to the Charles Darwin station, Bartolome Island, and North Seymour Island.  With a small, private group, we will be enjoying Tortuga Bay, snorkeling, swimming, a tour of the highlands (pit craters, lava tunnels, and a cloud forest), and daily yoga classes accessible to all levels of ability and experience. A gifted teacher, Libby will include slow, gentle yoga sequences in the morning, and relaxing restorative practices in the afternoon and evening when our schedule allows.
This is a rare opportunity to share the Galapagos with a special teacher known for her warm presence, sense of humor, and delight in adventure. But the real star of this retreat is the rich biodiversity of the protected native wildlife, many of which are unafraid of humans. Swim with sea lions and sharks, spot Galapagos penguins and flamingos, and watch the dance of marine iguanas and blue footed boobies on volcanic rocks. This truly unique UNESCO World Heritage Site offers the perfect melding of yoga and an unblemished example of the wild and natural world.  Accommodation is on the nature-inspired Santa Cruz island. Pack your swimmers and sun screen. This is happening!
