Two Birds Yoga Training
Tuition and Refund Policy
Verbiage adopted and adapted from Yoga Alliance

Upon receiving an acceptance email, the applicant must submit a non-refundable deposit of $500 to assure their place in the training. The training has two payment options:
The deadline to pay in full is 1 week prior to the start date of training. If an applicant withdraws from the program after acceptance, but before the program starts, the full $500 from the applicant's deposit amount will be retained by the program. However, such an amount can be applied towards a future training program.
The program will give credit minus $100 to apply toward a future 200-hour program after the training starts.
The program reserves the right to cancel any training before it begins. In that case any payments applicants have made [over and above the non-refundable $500 deposit] will be refunded in full.
Scholarships
Two Birds Yoga Training offers four need-based tuition reduction opportunities per training. Students must write a letter of intent to receive a scholarship, and acquire a letter of recommendation from another yoga teacher. The director will determine the amount of the scholarship, up to 50% off tuition. The student will receive the determined scholarship, free of additional requirements (these are not work-trade scholarships, but rather tuition reduction opportunities.)
Admission Denials
An applicant who is denied admission into the program is entitled to a full refund of all money paid by said applicant.
Three (3) Day Cancellation
An applicant who submits written notice of cancellation within three (3) business days after signing the training agreement is entitled to a refund of all money paid minus the $500 registration fee. The refund will be paid within thirty (30) days of receiving the notice of cancellation.
Cancellations After Three (3) Days But Before Program Start Date
An applicant who submits a written notice of cancellation of the program more than three (3) business days after signing the training agreement, but before the program begins, is entitled to a refund of all money paid less the $500 registration fee.
Refunds After the Program Start Date
There will be no refunds after the start date of the program. Contact the director to request partial credit toward a future training.
Special Cases
In case a student needs to withdraw from the program due to illness, accident, death in the family, or other circumstances that make it impractical for the student to complete the course, the program will provide a reasonable and fair prorated refund. Contact the director for more information.
Bad Conduct
No refunds will be given if the director removes a student from the program for bad conduct. Bad conduct is violation of the enrollment agreement, and includes but is not limited to: harassment, bullying, or any other behavior that is inappropriate, illegal, or disruptive to the welfare of the program or to fellow students. If such an incident occurs, the lead faculty will facilitate Restorative Justice conversations, where all parties will have the opportunity to speak about the conduct, its factors, and its impacts.

- Payment plan, divided over the number of months in the training, paid in full at least 2 weeks before the end of the training, totalling $3650, which includes the $500 deposit and an administrative fee. The director will draft a payment agreement, signed by the payee and the director, at the beginning of the training, listing the payment schedule and amounts.
